Shipping Policy for Green Goat Dairy

 

Welcome to Green Goat Dairy. We are dedicated to delivering our handcrafted goat milk soaps and lotions safely to your doorstep. Below you will find the details of our shipping policies.

 

1. Order Processing & Shipping Schedule

 

* Processing Time: All orders are processed within 2–3 business days.

* Shipping Days: We ship packages Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.

* Weekend Orders: Orders placed after 1:00 PM CST on Friday will be processed the following Monday.

 

 

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges for your order are calculated and displayed at checkout. We ship nationwide using USPS and UPS:

 

* Standard Shipping: Typically arrives within 3–5 business days after shipment.

* Priority Shipping: Typically arrives within 1–3 business days after shipment.

* Free Shipping: We offer free standard shipping on all orders over $50.

 

3. Weather & Temperature Care 

 

* Heat Sensitivity: Goat milk lotions and body butters can melt or separate if left in high heat for extended periods.

* Summer Shipping: During hot summer months, we recommend retrieving your package from your mailbox or porch promptly after delivery to prevent product damage.

* Hardening: If a lotion or butter softens in transit due to hot weather, place it in a cool room or refrigerator for 1 hour to re-solidify.

 

4. Address Changes & Delivery Issues

 

* Address Accuracy: Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We cannot change the delivery address once the package has been shipped.

* Tracking: You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order ships.

* Stolen or Lost Packages: We are not responsible for packages marked as "Delivered" by the carrier that are subsequently lost or stolen.

 

5. Returns, Damaged Items & Leaks

 

* Damaged Goods: If a lotion bottle cracks or a liquid product leaks during transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

* Proof of Damage: To process a replacement or refund, please send a clear photo of the damaged item and packaging to our customer service email.

* Hygiene Policy: Due to the personal care nature of soaps and lotions, we cannot accept returns on opened or used products.
